At the team meeting there were a few other people, (myself included), who expressed some interest in doing a few road races this year.
Maybe now would be a good time to talk about which ones would be best attended. I obviously have no aspirations of road glory, but I'd get a kick out of running a paceline to help some of you skinny riders get closer to the front.
Discuss.
First road event of the year: Death by Hills ride, Sunday, February 28. Team Red Wheel will leading the paceline up the 20% grades. Be there.

I'm there. I'll be leading the pace-line to the barf-bags.

Bob, I did this ride last year and it was a blast. I recall at least two hills that I couldn't climb and one that I bailed on without even trying. I was on a singlespeed though.

Bob, if Peat's last comment didn't scare the hell out of you, then nothing will.

I guess it's always better to get the hardcore failures out of the way early in the year:)
Plus, I can just say I'm out of shape because I've been working on this:

I just want to do this ride so I can see Peat's pain-face.

Bob, don't you have a triple crankset on your geared cross bike? You should be able to climb up a brick wall with that.
So your webpage says if you make a donation you get a chance to win a free mountain bike, huh? It wouldn't happen to be a medium sized Epic 29er, would it?

Gosh, it would have been an Epic but Nick didn't have any in stock at the time:)
I'm rollin' a 1X9....from the sound of things I'll needa 1x90 and an adult diaper.
